The labor shortage that has been concerned is becoming realistic in Japan. To solve this issue, the Japanese government announced the introduction of a new visa to allow more workforces from overseas countries. The new visa called “Specified Skilled Worker” or (tokutei ginou, 特定技能) visa from April 2019, is quite different from other existing working visas. So, what is the difference?
