1. How to find a job for International Graduates in Japan

Finding a job in Japan as an international graduate can be challenging, but there are several strategies you can employ to increase your chances of success:

①Use Job Search Agents or Career Services at Universities:

Utilize online job search platforms to find job listings specifically targeted towards international candidates. You can filter search results based on your qualifications, industry, and location preferences. 

If you've graduated from a university, utilize their career services office. They might have resources, job postings, and connections to help international graduates find employment.

②Prepare a Japanese-style Resume (Rirekisho):

After you find a job, send a resume to the company and apply for a job. Japanese employers often prefer a specific style of resume called a "rirekisho." Research how to format and write a rirekisho properly to make a good impression.

③Have a Job interview

If you get a good impression of the company from your CV, it is likely that companies will arrange a job interview with you.

3. Japan market towards foreigners

A poll by information technology services company Zenken found that nearly half of Japanese businesses are interested in recruiting foreigners. 45.5% of the companies who responded claimed that they were  interested in hiring foreign nationals.

200 businesses participated in the survey. Among the businesses participating, 42.5% employed fewer than 500 people, 15.5% had fewer than 1,000 employees, and 42% had more than 1,000.
When asked why they were interested in hiring foreign workers, 68.1% of the companies said it was to find talented staff.
The need for bilingual employees was mentioned by 46.2% of respondents as one cause, and labor shortages by 42.9%. About 30% of those surveyed said they want international workers to help the companies expand their commercial ventures overseas.
